AI Twin is a voice-powered Agent modeled on you. You can build one from the OpenHome web dashboard or from the AI Twin by OpenHome mobile app. Both ask you a few questions, then use your answers to write its personality and starting message, and clone your voice from the way you answer them, so the Twin speaks as you. The result behaves like any other Agent afterward.

Web Dashboard

  • What you’re doing in life right now.
  • How you’d describe your character, with a real example.
  • What topics your Twin should talk about with people.
  • What greeting it should open with.
It then offers a couple of optional extra details, or you can wrap up there. When the conversation ends, it clones your voice from your spoken answers and builds the Twin itself. The clone is saved to your account and appears under My voices on the Voices page, tagged ai twin.

3. Review and save

The Twin comes back as an editable review form: a generated Avatar, the Name, the Starting Message it drafted from your greeting, and a Description prompt written from your answers. Additional Information lists the individual facts it picked up, each removable with its x. 4. Talk to your Twin

Saving opens the Twin’s conversation view. It behaves like any other Agent, and its profile tags (for example software-engineer and developer-tools) come from your answers, and your cloned voice is set as its Agent Voice. Mobile App

AI Twin by OpenHome is a dedicated mobile app, available on the App Store. It builds your Twin entirely by voice. Launch the app and follow the guided creation process: you’ll answer a few voice and agent questions, and the app clones your voice and generates your Twin’s background and bio from your answers. No forms or typing required, the whole thing is a spoken conversation. Creating an account or logging in is required to save your progress. If you build a Twin without being logged in, it may be lost, so log in before or during creation. Once it’s saved to your account, you can log in from any other device and talk to the same Twin there. After logging in, go to the Settings page to update your Twin’s Bio, Background, and Username at any time. Your Twin’s underlying agent updates along with these changes. If audio recording isn’t working, check the phone’s microphone permissions and make sure the AI Twin app is allowed to access it, then try again in a quiet environment, speaking clearly. If the app crashes or freezes, close and restart it, if the issue continues, delete and reinstall or update it from your app store. If you seem to have lost your Twin, it usually means you weren’t logged in while building it, log in and rebuild it, logging in first this time. If you get stuck mid-build without being logged in, closing and reopening the app restarts the creation process.
